The Smart Money Woman (2021)
This show explores the lives of five women and how they handle their friendships, finances, assets, love lives, and societal expectations and pressures. Osas Ighodaro, Timini Egbuson, Toni Tones, and Kemi Lala Akindoju are major actors in this drama series.
The Men’s Club (2018)
TMC follows the lives of four male friends as they navigate bromance, love, careers, business, and Lagos life. It’s currently in its fifth season. This web series stars Ayoola Ayolola, Efa Iwara, Daniel Etim Effiong and Baaj Adebule.
Skinny Girl in Transit (2015)
Ngozi Nwosu, Bisola Aiyeola, and Ayoola Ayolola feature in this romantic series, which tells the story of a plus-sized woman’s (Abimbola Craig) journey to self-love and happiness. The term “Oshisco” arguably originated from this show.
Dear Diane (2024)
A romantic series about two people who found love over the phone while they navigate their radio and painting careers. It’s produced by Diane Russet and the cast includes Beauty Tukura, Shamz Garuba, Kameel Audi and Detola Jones.
Money.Men.Marriage (2017)
This show introduces the lives of five ladies through the eyes of an aspiring writer and JJC in Lagos. Welcome to the drama and chaos of the city. This show casts Toni Tones, Ibrahim Suleiman and Sika Osei.
Inspector K (2017)
This is a crime comedy set in Lagos Island. It’s focused on a funny inspector and two unserious police officers looking for one crime or the other. Koye Kekere-Ekun, Demi Banwo, Joseph Momodu are cast members.
Just Us Girls (2023)
Four female friends deeply connect on love, family life, Christian faith, career, and personal growth. This web series explores their lives in the modern city of Lagos as they engage the challenges faced by the female gender. It stars actors like Temitope Aje, Sacha Baker, Chisom Okonkwo-Eje, Keziah Abiaka, Kunle Remi, and Kehinde Bankole.
Game On (2020 – 2022)
This NdaniTV show explores the complicated relationships of a married couple and two unmarried cohabitants. If you’re looking for a Nollywood show with dangerous mind games, you’ve got one. The show features Omowunmi Dada, Eso Dike and Tayo Arimoro.
Little Black Book (2021)
Are you looking for a series focused on office romance and CEO-staff relationships? Little Black Book tells the story of an executive assistant and her attractive boss. Ikechukwu Onunaku, and Teniola Aladese are top casts.
When Are We Getting Married (2023)
Chemistry is good for a relationship but it’s hardly enough to sustain a relationship. This is the case in this romance drama series about two young lovebirds who moved in together to make their relationship work despite holding different perspectives on life. Find Ric Hassani and Immaculate Oko-Kasum on this show.
BFW: Senior Year (2022)
BFW stands for Best Friends in the World. This series, set in a Nigerian high school, explores the themes of love, jealousy, trust, parenthood, and friendship. If coming-of-age shows appeal to you, check this out. It was directed by Jemima Damina and features Kalu Ikeagwu, Cynthia Uche, and Toyomfom Okpokang.
Papa Benji (2020)
From solving family issues to dealing with neighbourhood drama and attempting get-rich-quick schemes, Papa Benji won’t remove himself from absurd situations. This shows stars Bright “Basketmouth” Okpocha, Oghenero Regha and Ada Ameh.
The Olive (2021)
A widower is left with the sole responsibility of raising three kids after the sudden demise of his wife. Over time, he begins to discover his late wife’s double life and dark secrets. Ibrahim Suleiman, Stephenie Coker, Theresa Eden and Harriet Akinola star in this.
Rofia Tailor Loran (2021)
A village tailor (Bimbo Ademoye) with dreams and hopes of blowing up in the city connects with her longtime friend Lape (Bolaji Ogunmola) to build a fashion house. As hilarious as this series is, you can’t miss out on the entrepreneurial lessons.
Visa on Arrival (2022)
This series shows the usual frustrating happenings at the Nigerian immigration office. The story mirrors our society with the presence of four strict, narcissistic, corrupt, and extremely religious officers. It features Harriet Abiola, Barbara Aduga, Soledayo Adegbite, and Bovi.
Sibe (2023)
A hilarious young woman navigating ambitions and everyday life. Societal expectations, family and personal growth also play into the show’s themes. Bimbo Ademoye, Kiekie, Lateef Adedimeji, Uzor Arukwe feature in this.
Akanchawa Baddie (2024)

Rumour Has It (2016 – 2021)
A celebrity blogger known for running a rumour and internet gossip blog is kicked from her position by her assistant, who takes over the blog. Jemima Osunde, Olumide Oworu, and Ozzy Agu star in this series.
Man of Her Dreams (2019 – 2020)
A lady keeps dreaming of being in love with an unknown man. She makes it a mission to find who the mystery man is, but she doesn’t have to walk too far before she meets him. It features Sonia Irabor and Folu Stormz.
Grow Up or Nuts (2021 – 2021)
Sophie Alakija and Efe Irele star in this webseries about two ladies navigating adulthood. It’s a light-hearted series to watch after a long and serious day at work. It’s now in its second season.
