Family, love, sacrifice and betrayal take centre stage in Gone, the latest thrilling mystery drama from the MTF West Africa Class of 2024. Written by Winner Achimugu and directed by Anjola Aluko and Omotola Oke Tbasz, Gone is set to premiere on March 7th at 5:30 PM on Africa Magic Showcase, with a repeat showing on March 8th at 7:00 PM on Africa Magic Family.  

This intriguing family drama explores the complexities of love, sacrifice, and forgiveness, wrapped in a high-stakes mystery that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats. Gone follows the story of Damola Akinola played by Paul Nnadiekwe, whose life is upended on his 25th birthday when a shocking revelation is unearthed in his family soak away. This discovery unravels a web of secrets, betrayal, and long-buried truths, threatening to destroy the fragile peace Damola shares with his mother, Abimbola played by Tolu Odewumi.   

The film boasts an impressive cast, including Teniola Aladese, Kelechi Udegbe; Martha Ehinome; Rotimi Adelegan and Kate Adepegba in pivotal roles; and a talented crew led by producer Oluwayanmife Arogundade, co-producer Izzy Besta, editor Ifekristi Ojediran, assistant director Isaac Effiong and cinematographer Olarenwaju Oyedola among others.
