There have been a number of robberies over the past few days in a couple of places in Lagos. A lot of people in the affected areas are concerned about this rise in theft, and a large number of these residents have taken to securing their areas by themselves.
A lot of people believe that the lockdown is a cause of these robberies, but this Twitter user thinks that they are only using the lockdown as an excuse.

Still, there are no policemen dispatched to the affected areas.
Residents of Ogun state too have had their fair share of these unfortunate events. A few thieves were caught days ago, but it seems that there is a fresh wave of crime in the area.
Please, let’s ensure we try our possible best to stay safe. We do hope that the government will do something about these cases.
