Airtel has given us many breathtaking ads with amazing concepts and solid storytelling in recent times. We still haven’t forgotten the awesome series of ads that came out as part of the “Data Is Life” campaign. This is why we were excited when the telecommunication company dropped a 10-second teaser trailer for something named “The Rainmaker.”
As stoked as this makes us, we haven’t been able to figure out what exactly is being teased. Is it the first of another series of ads or a standalone television ad? Are they finally giving us the original content (movie or TV series) we deserve? There’s no way to tell until they come through with the full video.
Until that happens, let’s talk about the things we do know, based on what we’ve seen so far.

- The full thing will air on the 30th of April 2021 at 8 pm.
- It will be showing on the Airtel TV platform and different Nigerian TV stations.
