There’s so much new music being released that it’s hard for even the most loyal fans to wade through the trash to find the gems. That’s why we’ve created #BumpThis – a Friday series that features new songs, by and featuring Nigerians, that you absolutely need to hear.
Dremo — “Mabel” ft. Davido
Dremo, DMW’s most underrated star, just came through with his second project under the label, Codename, Vol. 2, and it’s a great reminder of just how talented and versatile he really is.
There are a bunch of impressive tracks on the project, all showing off his skills as a rapper and a singer, but a clear standout is definiteyl the Davido-assisted love song, “Mabel”.
Crayon — “Mo Bad”
Crayon, one of the hardest-working Nigerian artists of 2020, continues his mission to be Mavin Records’ next big afropop star with his third single of the year, “Mo Bad”.
Like “Kpano” and “Shima” before it, the Baby Fresh-produced “Mo Bad” is instantly infectious banger, showcasing the rising star’s impressive grasp of the genre he inhabits.
