Larry Gaaga & Davido’s “Work (Living In Bondage)”
Larry Gaaga remains one of the most interesting figures in Nigerian music. He’s collaborated with some of the biggest artists in the game, from Wizkid to Burna Boy, and it’s still unclear how exactly he contributes to these songs he keeps releasing.
Well, if the songs continue to be as great as they are, who really cares how he does it? For his latest effort, he’s enlisted afropop juggernaut, Davido for one of his strongest singles to date, “Work”— off the soundtrack for Living In Bondage: Breaking Free.
Produced by Fresh VDM (Davido’s “Fia”), the fantastic “Work” is a sultry song that finds Davido at the top of his game. On the track, he sings about making love to a woman who has his heart. It’s easily the best Davido has sounded in a while.
