There’s so much new music being released that it’s hard for even the most loyal fans to wade through the trash to find the gems. That’s why we’ve created #BumpThis – a Friday series that features new songs, by and featuring Nigerians, that you absolutely need to hear.

PyschoYP — “OPPS”

PsychoYP has finally released his new mixtape, YPSZN2, and it’s every bit as hard as we expected it to be. Out of the 16 tracks on the project, however, the track that truly goes the hardest is “OPPS”.

On the exceptionally produced song, PyschoYP raps about not being able to find anyone who can oppose him. His swagger and confidence on the track are undeniable, making it a clear album standout.

Buju, TMXO — “Ohema”

With every new release, ‘Rookie of the Year’ nominee, Buju proves he is here to stay. A few days after dropping the fantastic “L’Enu”, he is back with another impressive track, “Ohema”.

Produced by the talented TMXO — one of the three beatsmiths behind Burna Boy’s African Giant standout, “Different” — “Ohema” is a catchy love song that finds Buju trying to woo a beautiful girl.
